Barbourville HRC’s staff and residents hosted an Easter Party and egg hunt for students at Girdler Elementary. In addition, they got a visit from the Easter Bunny who delivered tons of candies and joy to the kids in attendance. Residents at the facility were about to burst with excitement while hiding eggs due to the cuteness on site.

According to some sources, the Easter bunny first arrived in America in the 1700s with German immigrants settled in Pennsylvania and brought their tradition of an egg-laying hare called “Osterhase” or “Oschter Haws.”
