Residents and staff at Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center had a busy week last week gearing up for Easter. They colored eggs for the egg hunt, dyed eggs, got a visit from from Peter Cotton Tail, and finished off with a mobile party which included yummy carrot cake.
Thank you to all in the community who have reached out and continued to support Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center during this challenging time. All of your kind gestures towards the staff and residents have not gone unnoticed and are very much appreciated.

Residents and staff at Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center took full advantage of a beautiful sunny day. They relaxed on the patio and took in the suns rays. Anna and Renee used this opportunity to plant flowers in the courtyard.
Happy April Fools Day. Residents at Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center enjoyed playing pranks on the staff. Like a bake sale with brown “E”‘s or a fake spilled coffee. Lot’s of giggling throughout the halls from both residents and staff.
Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center would like to thank Oak Grove Baptist Church for purchasing pizza for all the employees. During times like this, gestures like this are very much appreciated.
Staff at Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center celebrated all the Nana’s, Mammaw’s, and Grandmother’s in the facility with some delicious muffins. They are all thankful for the resident grandmothers and the knowledge, wisdom, and love they share each and everyday.

Happy 92nd Birthday to Ms. Jessie Gayle at Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center. Although her family couldn’t be with her to celebrate, they went above and beyond to make sure she knew they were thinking of her and can’t wait to celebrate when it’s safe for everyone.
