Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center would like to thank the University of the Cumberlands School of Nursing for the wonderful sign they placed at the facility. Everyone appreciates what nurses are doing for long-term care facilities across the Commonwealth.

It was the first Saturday of May, but there was no running of the roses at Churchill Downs. That didn’t stop the residents and staff at Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center from celebrating. Drinks were made, there were stick horse races, and lots of gorgeous hats all over the facility.
The first Saturday in May is normally the running of the Kentucky Derby. With large gatherings being canceled, so too was the beloved Run for the Roses, but that didn’t stop these ladies at Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center from showing off their gorgeous hats and fascinators.
A great big thank you goes out to GR Hampton elementary school students, faculty, teachers, and PTO. They stopped by and brought snacks for staff at Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center. The facility is blessed with a wonderful community that is always thinking of their hardworking hero’s.
With Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center’s very own ice cream parlor, administration showed their appreciation for staff with a sweet treat. Each employee got to enjoy a banana split. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to each and every resident.
Green has been the color of compassion during this difficult time. Residents and staff at Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center wanted to show their support by wearing green all day.
Bobbie, Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center Administrator, said she is so blessed to have the best work family anyone could ask for. Staff got her birthday balloons, lunch, cake, and a gift that was very generous.
